The season's Kick-Off was bright and loud, but the loudest noise came from the calm, relentless guard from Fundamentor Basketball Academy, John Mutuku. First timers in the Elevate Ballers League, and given the young age of their players, John Mutuku rose above the odds, giving a spirited fight in their loss to EBL veterans Kenya Science.

John's skilled handling, calm demeanour, and a never-give-up attitude provided his team with critical baskets, steals, and defensive plays when they needed them most. Playing against experienced players, John held his own with flashy plays, swift finishes, and aggressive drives to the hoop, never backing down.
